Third-Party Login Policy

1. Using Google Login

• Opt-In Convenience: Google Login is optional and provided for convenience. It is the primary login method for cr8rs given our passwordless authentication approach.
• Permissions: When you choose 'Login with Google', you are redirected to Google's OAuth consent page. cr8rs requests only the minimum scope necessary: your Google account email address, name, and profile picture (if available). cr8rs does not request access to your Google contacts, Google Drive, or any other unrelated Google data.
• Data Usage: cr8rs uses your Google email as your cr8rs login email (for uniqueness and contact purposes). Your display name may be taken from your Google profile name (you can change it later in settings). Your Google profile picture may be used as your cr8rs avatar by default (changeable later). cr8rs does not obtain your Google password or any token permitting actions beyond authentication.
• Account Linking: If you already have a cr8rs account under the same email as your Google account, using Google Login will link to that existing account. If no account exists, a new one will be created seamlessly.

2. Privacy and Security with Google Login

• No Posting Beyond Login: cr8rs will never post to your Google account or share anything on your behalf. Google Login is used solely for identity verification.
• Secure Authentication: Authentication happens through Google's secure servers. cr8rs receives a token from Google confirming your identity. cr8rs does not store your Google password or sensitive Google credentials on our servers.
• Google Data Handling: Any data received from Google (email, name) is treated under cr8rs's Privacy Policy (Chapter 6). cr8rs does not sell or misuse this information. It is used strictly for account identification, communication and personalization.
• Passwordless Security: Because cr8rs uses passwordless login, there is no cr8rs-specific password to protect or compromise. However, your Google account security directly affects your cr8rs account security. cr8rs strongly recommends enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on your Google account.
• Unlinking Google: You may unlink your Google account from cr8rs by revoking cr8rs's access in your Google Account's security settings. Go to Manage your Google Account > Third-party apps & services, select ‘cr8rs’, and click "Delete all connections you have with cr8rs”. Contact support@cr8rs.app for assistance.

3. Compliance and Third-Party Terms

• By using Google Login, you also agree to Google's terms of service and privacy policy in relation to your Google account. If your Google account is suspended, you may lose access to cr8rs until you resolve those issues or contact cr8rs for alternative login options.
• cr8rs may add additional third-party login options in the future. Any new provider will similarly respect user privacy and request minimal permissions. This policy will be updated accordingly.

4. YouTube Integration

cr8rs provides an optional integration allowing Creators to connect their YouTube accounts via Google Login, leveraging the YouTube Data API v3. This feature enables real-time display of tip notifications and other cr8rs alerts during YouTube LIVE Streams. This is one of several platform integrations cr8rs supports for distributing creator alerts and monetization notifications.

• Permissions and Usage: By connecting your YouTube account, you authorize cr8rs to use specific API permissions to interact with your YouTube channel settings and live streams to display tips. cr8rs guarantees never to modify, delete or alter your videos, comments, ratings, captions or other channel content.
• Data Security: Permissions granted for YouTube integration are used exclusively to display live tip information. cr8rs ensures strict compliance with Google's developer policies and YouTube's terms of service. Creators retain full autonomy and control over their content and channel activities.
• Managing Integration: You may enable or disable YouTube integration at any time through your cr8rs YouTube Bot Section. If required, you may also revoke cr8rs's access to your YouTube Account in your Google Account's security settings. Go to Manage your Google Account > Third-party apps & services, select ‘cr8rs’, and click "Delete all connections you have with cr8rs”. Make sure to check if the connection is only for YouTube Access. Revoking Google Login app might affect your Google Login with cr8rs. Disconnecting your YouTube account immediately ceases data access and stops tip notification display. cr8rs does not retain access to your YouTube account after disconnection.
