This Cookies Notice explains how cr8rs uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on our Platform.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to site owners. Similar technologies include web beacons (pixel tags), local storage and scripts that run in the background.
2. How We Use Cookies
- Essential Cookies: Necessary for the operation of our Service (e.g., authentication cookies to keep you logged in, CSRF security tokens). Without these, the Service may not function properly.
- Preference Cookies: Remember your choices (e.g., preferred currency, last used username) to give you a more personalized experience.
- Analytics Cookies: cr8rs uses Google Analytics and PostHog to collect information about how visitors use our site. This information helps us improve the website's functionality and user experience. The data is aggregated and does not directly identify individuals.
- Advertising Cookies: cr8rs does not currently serve third-party advertising cookies. If this changes in the future, this Notice will be updated.
3. Third-Party Cookies
- Google Analytics (_ga, _gid): Track user interactions. Google Analytics has its own privacy policy. You can opt out via the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- PostHog: Used for product analytics and user behavior tracking. PostHog sets its own session and identification cookies. PostHog respects DNT signals and provides opt-out options.
- Payment Gateways: When redirected to a payment gateway (e.g., Khalti, card payment page), those services may set their own cookies. These are outside cr8rs's direct control and governed by the gateway's cookie policies.
4. Consent and Your Choices
cr8rs is in the process of implementing a cookie consent management interface on the Platform. When live, this will allow you to accept or reject cookies by category (Essential, Analytics, Advertising) prior to non-essential cookies being set. In the meantime:
- Essential cookies are set automatically as they are required for the Service to function.
- Analytics and advertising cookies are described in this Notice. You can opt out of these using the tools described in §7.2.
- By using the Platform, you acknowledge that essential cookies are in use. cr8rs will update this Notice when the full consent management interface is live.
5. Cookie Disclosure
A non-exhaustive list of cookies that may be set (names and details may change as the site is updated):

6. Changes to This Notice
If cr8rs makes significant changes to how it uses cookies, the Cookies Notice will be updated and users will be informed via a prominent message on the site. Continuing to use the Platform after being informed of changes indicates your acknowledgment of the new usage.
