cr8rs Privacy Choices

1. Account Settings and Controls

• Profile Visibility (Creators): Certain profile information (display name, profile picture, content platform links) is visible on your cr8rs profile page. You control what you put in your bio and display name. You may use a stage name or pseudonym to remain semi-anonymous.
• Email Preferences: Every non-essential email (newsletter, promotional) will include an unsubscribe link. Essential emails (transaction confirmations, security alerts) cannot be opted out of as they are necessary for service operation.
• Notification Preferences: If cr8rs offers push notifications or in-app notifications, you can control these via your device or browser settings.

2. Cookies and Tracking Choices

As detailed in the Cookies Notice (Chapter 9), you have options to control how cookies and trackers operate:

• Browser Settings: Most web browsers allow control of cookies through their settings. You can block third-party cookies or all cookies; note that disabling essential cookies may affect service functionality.
• Google Analytics Opt-Out: Google provides a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all sites. Visit the Google Analytics opt-out page to install it.
• PostHog: cr8rs uses PostHog for product analytics. PostHog respects Do Not Track (DNT) signals and provides opt-out options via PostHog's privacy documentation.
• Do Not Track (DNT): Currently there is no universal standard for DNT signals. cr8rs acknowledges DNT signals and works to minimise tracking for users who have enabled DNT (e.g., anonymizing IP addresses for analytics).

3. Ad Choices

cr8rs does not currently display third-party personalized advertising. cr8rs does not share your personal data with advertising networks. If cr8rs introduces third-party advertising in the future, relevant controls and opt-out options will be described in this section.

4. Managing and Deleting Your Data

• Access and Download: Transaction history and non-personal account data can be downloaded directly from your cr8rs dashboard. A full personal data export tool is planned for a future update; until then, contact support@cr8rs.app.
• Updating Info: Use your profile settings to update your info. Contact support for anything that cannot be self-edited (e.g., verified phone number, linked payout accounts or usernames).
• Account Deletion: You can delete your account by contacting support. See §6.6 for what data is retained for legal reasons after deletion.

5. Privacy on Linked Platforms

When using cr8rs, you may click links to third-party sites (payment gateways, content platforms, creator channels). cr8rs's Privacy Policy does not cover external sites. Those sites' own privacy policies apply. cr8rs encourages you to review the privacy statements of any third-party websites you interact with via the Platform.

6. International Privacy Rights

While cr8rs is primarily a Nepal-based service, we respect users from various regions. cr8rs does not sell personal information for profit. For users covered by laws like the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or similar legislation, note that cr8rs does not sell your data in the traditional sense. For the broad definition of 'share' under such laws (which can include certain advertising cookies), you can opt out using the mechanisms described in this chapter and Chapter 9.
